New TV spot for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone: watch now

A new TV spot has arrived for magical comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone , in which Steve Carell’s titular illusionist attempts to stay relevant in the face of a new brand of street magic.

Carell plays a fading Vegas entertainer, whose routine is becoming steadily more tired, while his relationship with partner Steve Buscemi grows ever more strained.

The last thing he needs is the arrival of Jim Carrey’s flashy magician onto the scene, so when the new man starts making waves, Burt turns to an old hero (Alan Arkin) for inspiration…

Take a look at the new spot, below:

As much as we might like to pretend otherwise, Steve Carell pulling a teething puppy out of his trousers will never not be funny. For that reason alone, we’re keen!

Directed by Don Scardino and co-starring Olivia Wilde and James Gandolfini, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone will open in the UK on 15 March 2013.
