More Mass Effect 2 DLC incoming March 29

The fourth pack of downloadable content is coming out for Mass Effect 2, and will hit all platforms - PS3, Xbox 360, and PC - on the same day. That day is March 29.

The DLC is titled Arrival, and it's the first story-based expansion of the game since it went cross-platform on the PS3 earlier this year. BioWare describes the new adventure on its website. According to the official description, "A deep cover agent is missing in Batarian space, after reporting evidence of an imminent Reaper invasion. Shepard must travel to the edge of the galaxy, rescue the agent, and discover the truth behind the Arrival. Uncover new research and 3 new achievements in this spectacular new adventure for Mass Effect 2."

Following the release of Kasumi - Stolen Memory, Overlord, and Lair of the Shadow Broker, Arrival marks the fourth major piece of DLC released for the Xbox 360 and PC. The new content will cost $6.99, or 560 Microsoft/BioWare Points.

    WANT. NAO.

Lair of the Shadow Broker adds pretty good variety. I suppose Overlord is decent. Actually the Kasumi pack is pretty different, too. But I'd only really recommend buying Shadow Broker unless you're REALLY into ME2.

@R_U_Guys_From_British Weapons, armor, Zaeed, and the Hammerhead missions. Also, this DLC is supposed to feature Admiral Hackett, the most voice ever in a character.

Do any of the dlc add good variety? I became completely tired of ME2 halfway through a second playthrough and feel like I'm wasting time every time I try to play it.

I want that so bad. March 29th is so close but it feels so far away.
  • lovinmyps3 - March 19, 2011 1:13 a.m.

Still need to get the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC. I'll probably get both when this one comes out. Kasumi was great, Overlord was a bit disappointing.
  • R_U_Guys_From_British - March 19, 2011 12:45 a.m.

So what was the great free content we got thanks to the Cerberus network?
  • F4G1TR0N - March 19, 2011 12:20 a.m.
