I'm enjoying all these stellar games available and coming soon for Sony and Microsoft's consoles.... It is in no way similar to the vastly inferior Nintendo console when it first launched.

Lot of good stuff here, sunset overdrive looked pretty fun, I love Limbo so Inside looks amazing, more Tomb Raider is welcome, Witcher 3 just needs to be out and in my home, Phantom Dust seems neat so I'd like to see some gameplay soon, Scalebound isn't going to make me buy a One any sooner but I'm assuming it will be great because platinum games.

I've got to say, I am very surprised with Microsoft's conference. I think this is one of the best they've had in a while. Glad to see they are giving me a reason to turn on my relatively untouched One.

Did Microsoft even mention the word "Kinect" in their conference?
  • shawksta - June 9, 2014 11:57 a.m.

Microsoft definitely stepped it up, no corporate stuff and babbling, the entire thing was all games, games and more games. That being said, not a lot of actual big reveals we havnt heard of aside from Platinums new exclusive and such, but nontheless, better-than-last-year/10
  • Swedish_Chef - June 9, 2014 12:08 p.m.

Platinum making an exclusive was leaked quite a while ago actually, we just didn't know what it was until now. But yeah regardless show gets a 7/10 it was a solid games showcase with very little nonsense, would've been really damn good if the big reveals weren't leaked prior though.

I liked the part where conker showed up and he was like make your own damn conker game cause we have no idea what to do.
  • shawksta - June 9, 2014 11:55 a.m.

It still hurts Gamesradar better give that stunt the most Cold Blooded act at E3 Award. This is what Rare said on Twitter "To everyone who wants a new conker game: Show us yours first!"
  • watevermanimlost - June 10, 2014 8:17 a.m.

That is stone cold Steve Austin cold.

I feel like its a shame when the only thing that peaked my curiosity was the new tomb raider. Anyone else feeling like most to all games being released in the past three or four years have lost their magic?
  • FoxdenRacing - June 9, 2014 11:24 a.m.

I'm concerned that their only hard-hitting exclusives were the two everyone already knew were coming: Forza and Halo. Makes me wonder if they emptied the whole wagon for launch, and will be facing a library drought until the next dev cycle ends. Not good, as the stronger portfolio of big names was the one thing XBO had going for it. Anyone else notice just how little they mentioned motion control? I knew a camera-free SKU was in the works, but wasn't expecting this level of abandonment. It's nice to see Crackdown coming back, if the gameplay backs up the 'Saints Row 4 from the Cops' point of view' presentation, it'll be the first game to make me go 'awww' about not being interested in XBO.

60fps and dedicated servers? But teh human eye can only see 30fps, and dedicated servers are full of hackers
  • winner2 - June 10, 2014 5:58 p.m.

Speaking of 60fps have you heard anything solid about witcher 3 specs? I've been seeing some not so hopeful things about dual titans and 780ti's going to be melted, and I'm taking it with a grain of salt of course, but I also want something that can max (or at least very very close) both it and AC by the time AC rolls around this fall. I feel like next gen is finally coming in full force now, and things like TR and dark souls 2 on PC have ruined me. I got the dark souls prepare to die edition and literally quit within 3 minutes and started looking for that fps fix.

I haven't. I wouldn't doubt that it will bring anything but a modern rig to its knees, though. Kind of sucks for me, because I upgraded my rig late last year in anticipation of TW 3 coming out in February, and then it got pushed back. Oh well. If I have to run it on medium-high for a bit, it won't be the end of the world. Plus, it's always great to come back to a game like that after you've bought some upgrades and watch your new rig completely manhandle the game maxed out.

The twitch isn't working for me and i reload only to find it doesn't work or load on the link under it.
  • shawksta - June 9, 2014 10:05 a.m.

    It works now
