Mass Effect 3 weapons and armor guide

If you thought Mass Effect 2 had an impressive selection of weapons and armor, then Mass Effect 3 will knock your space boots off. There are 32 weapons and 12 armor sets available in Mass Effect 3, though with the Reapers constantly breathing down your neck, you might miss some. Not only do we have intel on each piece of equipment, we’ve charted the exact location of everything in our full walkthrough. Now you have no excuse not to look your finest just before a building-sized Reaper crushes you like a bug.

It’s important to note that while some weapons and armor become available at shops if you miss them during missions, this is not the case for most items, so you’ll want to use the walkthrough portion of this guide to avoid missing anything. Alternatively, a small number of weapons and armor are only available in shops.

On the first pages of this guide you’ll find a rundown of every weapon and piece of armor in the game (not including DLC or pre-order bonuses) along with their stats and locations. On the following pages you’ll find a complete walkthrough of the entire game with more thorough descriptions and screens of where to find everything, in the order we found to be most natural.

Adding more info, you can get a second Mattock if you imported a save from ME2 with Project Overlord, and have saved David Archer. He will unlock a security office directly behind the students. If you do this in two playthroughs, you only have to spend for the Mattock IX and X upgrade in the Normandy.

He forgot the Revenant. You can get that on the Citadel in the Presidium Commons in the store. If you miss some of these weapons, the Citadel will have some of these.

hey, could you guys add the N7 weapons, seeing as they'll be avaible in MP as a reward for that reaper thing?

You missed the pistol magazine upgrade that to the right of the building with weapon bench in the first camp

This guide is for weapons and armor only, and doesn't include upgrades, which can be easily purchased.

The Hahne-Kedar gauntlets can only be bought. I have to go through the whole game again to find which shop carries the armor piece and exactly which mission they appear after.

You can buy them directly after the Priority:Rannoch mission

The Hahne-Kedar Gauntlets are purchased from Kanala Exports. Mystery solved.

Similar to what SakuyaFM posted, the player has two chances to collect the M-22 Eviscerator at Grissom Academy, imported a save in which you saved David Archer at the end of Project Overlord. The M-22 probably took the place of the Mattock because this was on a playthrough with my Vanguard. No doubt, the weapon found in the security office is directly related to what class of character you're playing.
