The Legend of Zelda as a Western needs to be made into a game

When fan films feature your favorite video game properties in a unique, intricately-detailed and creative vision, it's worth taking time out of your day to not only appreciate the work and craftsmanship behind the video, but think on how amazing it could be to actually see a game follow in its footsteps. Such, I would argue, is the case for Hang Em Hyrule, a video from Beatdown Boogie that reimagines Link, Zelda and Ganondorf as cowboys (and a cowgirl) in the Old West.

With The Legend of Zelda for Wii U recently delayed and a TBD release date, Nintendo has time to lift a few ideas from this fantastic film. Just sayin'.
