Grand Theft Auto V pre-orders open November 5

Spring release confirmed by publisher Take-Two

No speculation or inference about this one: Take-Two games has officially confirmed that GTA 5 will release in spring 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The publisher also revealed November 5 as the opening day for pre-orders on the next entry in the influential open-world series.

After this morning's news of leaked posters from retailer GAME, as well as previous pictures of promotional posters snapped across Europe, a spring launch window was all but assured. The pre-order date of November 5 is new to us, though, and Rockstar of course urges you to buy in early to "avoid disappointment."

We still know next to nothing about the game's campaign, other than it will take place in Los Santos and surrounding areas, and have guns, cars, bikes, airplanes, and parachuting. We'll know more once Game Informer's December cover story on GTA V lands.

The new GTA looks great! I can't wait to get it! My most favorite part is the guns. I actually just got a AK47 from like in the game from here http://www.airsplat.com/airsoft-video-games.htm and I love it! They also have a bunch of other guns from all the FPS games too!
