ESRB may have outed Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia HD trilogies for Xbox 360

We already know that Ubisoft is bringing HD remakes of classic Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia games to the PS3 (it's already started with PoP), but thanks to some new information from the ESRB website, it looks like the same games may be making their way to the Xbox 360 as well.

The following titles are now listed on esrb.org for the Xbox 360:

- Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones HD
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time HD
- Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within HD
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell HD
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory HD
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow HD

The games do not have rating summaries, which means Ubisoft has submitted them as having identical content (as relevant to their ratings) to the original titles. Ubisoft has not officially announced any of these titles for the 360, but the ESRB has leaked information like this in the past, so it'd be a safe bet that Ubisoft is at least considering 360 releases.

The Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell remakes will be available on the PS3 March 22 as download packs and in retail stores (one Blu-ray disc per collection) for $39.99 each. We'll let you know if Ubisoft officially decides to release 360 versions.

I hope this is true. My only concern is the number of discs. I have no clue how big each of the old xbox games are, so I wonder if they will fit on one disc like the PS3 collections. Either way, i'll probably be getting them if they are coming out.

Even though I only have a PS3, I hope 360 owners also get this. I've played some of the last-gen Splinter Cell games, and they're great.

I wish it was making its way to the PC. One day, maybe...maybe.

The games already look so amazing on the 360 with it's upgrade feature, I don't see the point. The PoP games weren't that huge in the states (after Sands of Time) and while the Splinter Cell games were and still are very linked to the Xbox name, those games really still work awesome on the 360. I'm playing Chaos Theory on my 360 this month, so I can say without hesitation that it looks amazing on my TV, even by today's standards. And as all 360's are fully backward compatible with the Splinter Cell games... I can't see why they'd bother. Now IF the Splinter Cell games (especially Chaos Theory) that the PS3 is getting are ports of the Xbox versions of the games (which were FAR superior to the #&*@ PS2 versions), then I could see PS3 gamers buying this collection and with good reason. But Xbox 360 gamers... I'm just not sure it'd be worth it.
