Ahaha, nice one Amnesiac. I just thought of this the other minute ago Commander Shepard: KINECT, JOKER BING GETH! :P

    KINECT, ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL.

Waste of money to put in voice commands in Mass Effect. What's the point of even having Kinect for this feature in the first place, you've been able to use the same type of voice stuff in games like Endwar and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 just using your headset.

Well why not, I've got the first two CE lol. Yeah I hope I can tell Tali my undying love using my Kinect! lol or just move analog stick up or down, either or.

Now I get to yell "THE COUNCIL CAN KISS MY ASS"!

I'm a sucker for fancy special editions, so I'll definitely be getting this. A limited edition Garrus action figuire would have been nice though.

I'm not crazy about voice commands either, but it could still be an interesting addition in the long run. You'll still be able to use a button, so it's really preference and how immersed you want to be.

Care about collectors edition do not care about voice control

I really want an uber collectors edition with a figurine, maybe a model of the Normandy. Who the hell is going to use the N7 patch?

    FASTER FASTER!!!

    @sonic Garrus, Move In.
  • SonicX_89 - June 6, 2011 5:37 p.m.

@veryweirdguy As long as you aren't trying to sex up some dude, I think it'll be fine.
  • alphaman - June 6, 2011 5:35 p.m.

Voice control.... wow so now I can take a few seconds to say a command instead of pressing the button instantly! YAY! (was someone voice controlling those kinect-fake-children on the stage a few minutes ago?)

A collector's edition that doesn't require a loan from the bank to pay for it? I'm in.
  • veryweirdguy - June 6, 2011 5:23 p.m.

As long as I can play it without, I'm fine. Interesting point someone raised: if you are a male, with a female Shephard....isn't that gonna be weird...?
  • GamesRadarCarolynGudmundson - June 6, 2011 5:13 p.m.

Gawd who wants voice commands so dumbbbbb
  • Dreadman75 - June 6, 2011 5:01 p.m.

Yup. Just saw that they're going to use Kinect for some sort of voice recognition. Being able to direct your allies or choose dialog choices using just your voice. I don't have kinect, never wanted it never will, but the part where you could direct your allies with your voice seems pretty cool.
  • veryweirdguy - June 6, 2011 4:59 p.m.

Kinect support is just voice control for dialogue and squad command. Don't worry, it won't affect the actual game part. *phew*
  • DannyMB - June 6, 2011 4:52 p.m.

    Oh god. Not kinect.
  • Sketchy - June 6, 2011 4:50 p.m.

So ridiculously pumped for this! Glad it got delayed because I won't be able to get any games until after Christmas :P Oh and...first?
