Doug Liman’s latest gets yet another writer

Paramount’s as-yet-untitled sci-fi moon project, which has Jake Gyllenhaal attached to star and Doug Liman producing/directing is in the hands of yet another writer.

Black Hawk Down scribe Ken Nolan is taking a crack at the lunar colonization action pic that Liman has been developing seemingly ever since he finally allowed Jumper to be torn from his hands.

The original draft was written by Liman and John Hamburg, and it’s a weird coincidence that someone associated with Black Hawk Down should be working on it now – the book’s writer, Mark Bowden has already revamped the script once.

Oh, and current hot writing talent (and possible Flash scripter) Dan Mazeau has also had a crack, working from the combined efforts of Liman, Bowden and Simon Kinberg.

By the time they get shooting on this thing, it might actually be possible to set it on the moon itself. Provided Jake doesn’t get replaced at the last minute with Hayden Christensen.

Do you think Liman will ever get this thing finished?
