Please, Please, PLEASE, don't pull a Resident Evil 5. If you're going to have co-op, let someone else develop it, and make it a separate bonus mode. As much as I love Isaac, I don't want to see him all soldiered-up, kicking ass and taking names side-by-side Ellie in some necromorph frag-fest.

Seconded. I'd hate to see the main campaign of Dead Space 3 go co-op, especially if I have to hear "I need ammo!" every five minutes. I hope the single player component is the same as the last two games, with the same tense atmosphere. If it does take place on an icy planet, that'll be enough of a change to keep the series fresh, they don't need to mess with the gameplay.

I am ecstatic and terrified all at the same time.

Nice troll, but you haven't even seen a photo of the game yet.

and yet, like always, you never give more than one reason to express your "one sentence opinion".

i think, if you just ignore him, he'll go away. if a tree falls in the forest... the sound of one hand clapping... that sort of thing;)

Cover System Drop-in Drop-out co-op Human Enemies Evasive Rolls and Sprinting Less focus on Dismemberment and more on HEADSHOTS Will be shit, are they making Dead Space or Lost Planet?

you know it's funny, because i agree, to a point. it SEEMS like a potentially large (too large?) departure. but dude's point wasn't so much what you say, but HOW you say it (or don't say it, in this case). i, for one, see no need to rush to judgment. there really is absolutely no reason for it. it just sets you up to steel yourself against the possibility that you may actually enjoy it if given a chance (free of pre/misconceptions). cheers
