Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified trailer and details out of Gamescom

Today during Sony's press conference at Gamescom, Activision released a brand new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, the upcoming portable adaptation of their insanely popular shooter.

Developed by Nihilistic Software (PlayStation Move HeroesResistance: Burning Skies), Declassified will feature 8-player multiplayer matches (wifi) in modes like Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Drop Zone among others that have not been announced yet.

Declassified will also utilize some Vita-specific features like the touch screen which will be used for melee attacks and grenades.

Black Ops Declassified is currently headed for release this November.

Developed by Nihilistic? Great. Now we can expect the same bad graphics, unfinished mechanics, and glitchy gameplay from Resistance: Burning Skies...but now with a CoD setting.

Yeah. I honestly cannot figure out why they keep getting these big properties. PS Move Heroes? Sure! Go crazy with Playstation's most iconic heroes and make...a minigame collection. Resistance? Sure! Make a generic corridor shooter that looks like a gen 1 PS2 game. At least Killzone: Mercenary looks good, so I guess I just have to wait a year for a good FPS on the Vita.

Maybe I just suck, but I can't imagine using the Vita's analog sticks to play an FPS with anything approximating competence.
