We have the first screenshot for Climax’s purportedly eye-searingly intense Battlefield/Burnout hybrid, Avalon. Not much has been reported since its announcement many moons ago. We suspect that development was put on hold and the developers were locked in a cage with a Moto GP development kit by Mr. THQ, but now that they have a game engine up and running on next-gen architecture we expect Avalon to roll out of the garage later on in 2007.   



This online thriller promises a unique and “never-before-seen” twist on the Battlefield genre… at least Climax’s experience in the field should ensure knuckle-bleachingly good handling. Check back for more information, including a final release date, in the coming months.
