Military sim Arma 3 will enter beta on June 25, after a lengthy pay-to-play alpha on Steam. Developer Bohemia Interactive told PC Gamer that the infantry-and-vehicle-based sandbox shooter will receive several additions in the updated version.
New weapons and vehicles will fill out the game's build-a-scenario mode, and players will find several pre-made co-op scenarios including wave defense. A third faction (besides the succinctly named Blufor and Opfor) will be bulked up to represent the military of the fictional Greek islands.
Arma 3 Alpha is currently priced at $33 on Steam. Bohemia has previously stated the price will rise as the game gets closer to release, so keep that in mind.
