I enjoyed Dragon Age II despite its numerous glaring flaws, so I'd welcome a DA3 as long as it takes the few improvements from DA2 and puts into a game more like Origins. Multiple races/origin stories, a big world map with multiple cities, fast paced combat, a proper world-threatning plot... I'd buy it day one.

I really wonder what subtitle they'll go with for Pokemon 3D. Pokemon Clear, Solid, and Transparent? But yeah, I'm also pleasantly awaiting a new 3DS core Pokemon game. Might even be a system-seller for me.

Yes, lets have Dragon Age 3 announced so it can be rushed out the door and turns out to be a piece of crap. Just because you want it doesn't mean it should happen. I know Activision pioneered rushing games out the door and they tend to be just another garbage copy and paste of the last.. doesn't mean every developer does. Let Dragon Age cook for three years, then hope for it's announcement. There is a reason Valve and Blizzard games are top quality, because they release when they feel like it and not attempt to rush mediocrity out the door. THAT's what ruined Dragon Age 2 in the first place. As for God of War, three games of annoying QTE's and Button mashing wasn't enough. There is a point a franchise just needs to end. We don't need a God of War 4,5,6,7,8,9.. just let it end and be done with it. Not that it's a particularly good game in the first place.

I wasn't actually that thrilled with God of War 3. But GOW could go on the way Castlevania Lords of Shadow could, coming to the present day. Or, since Kratos killed off the gods of his time, he could make his way through time, fighting the various other gods around the world, and end up with the Judeo-Christian one, ushering in an age of atheism and science, with no more gods or superstition.

What about Battlefront 3?!!! Am I the only one that can't figure out why this game hasn't happened already!! It might be the only game with potential to dethrone CoD as the multiplayer king (cue the CoD bashing)! It will make a bucketload of cash even if it's rubbish. Just hurry up and get it made!
  • Cyberninja - January 28, 2012 6:59 a.m.

the studio that made battlefront is dead and they were making it before but it got canceled.

Surprised Diablo 3 isn't on this list, or are you guys saving that for your "to be announced in 2014" list?
  • Ell223 - January 28, 2012 3:05 a.m.

Pretty sure that's already been announced...

I'd like to see a new game plus for Pokemon where you keep all your Pokemon, but play through again with all gym leaders and other opponents leveled up. Of course, that'd truly only be desirable with a beefed up story to stay motivated, but gen 5 showed some serious story improvement, so it could happen. Captcha: littopm Caroline. That's cruel. We'll miss you, Carolyn!

  • shawksta - January 27, 2012 11:23 p.m.

Awesome list, and allot of Nintendo 0_0 God of War 4? Hell yeah! Something other than World of Warcraft? PLEASE! The Wii U got hearings that its gonna be released near the holidays, I swear to freakin god they better have delayed it there so the Wii U can Launch with Pikmin 3, even if there's no Mario Launch title, Pikmin 3 is a DEFINITE Seller for a launch title! Iwata already kept saying that they went over Wii to make it Better, so it HAS to be for Wii U! oh and fully agree on Infamous 2 and Star Fox

As long as they design pokemon better than the shitstorms that were created for 4th/5th gen, I wouldn't mind a new pokemon game. Even better - go back to making badass storylines, in which giovanni's son kicks you in the face repeatedly.
  • shawksta - January 27, 2012 11:20 p.m.

I dont know about you bro, but 5th Gen's designs vary, some WERE shitstorms, while others were brillaint, i like having different styles, B/W has a new team and i dont want to express just how awesome Garbodor is visually, what with Childhood memories of wanting a Trash Monster instead of Muk(not saying he's bad by any means)
  • slimjim441 - January 27, 2012 11:43 p.m.

I like different styles as well, I just prefer different styles of good, not bad and worse. Honestly, 95% of 5th gen. suck, hands down. They look retarded, all attempting to be too 'cutesy,' or look like the result of a 2nd grade design-your-own-Pokemon contest with half-assed, lackluster evolutions (a gear, evolves into 2 gears, which evolves into.. 3 gears!). It's a shame that any remake of the old games will be flooded with all the cretin that pass for Pokemon now.
  • Cyberninja - January 28, 2012 6:57 a.m.

seeing as i have played every generation of pokemon i can easily say black and white had the best story yet because it is the only one to go deeper than be the very best and beat team X, by actually introducing reoccurring characters and a story of morals with N

    thanks for spoiler warnings :)
  • RedHarlow - January 27, 2012 10:41 p.m.

Nintendo being Nintendo, in 2013 there will be a new Mario, Zelda, Starfox, Pokemon, and Metroid.
  • AGENTJORRRG - January 27, 2012 10:23 p.m.

Most of these are Nintendo things that all go without saying. And I'll be pissed off if they make an Infamous 3. Infamous 2 had good complete ending.
