I hope you weren't planning to ask Santa for a copy of Capybara Games' Below for Christmas. The Super Time Force developer has confirmed to Game Informer that its top-down exploration-adventure game (and timed Xbox One exclusive) will not be available by year's end - it's been delayed to 2016.
It's not much of a surprise given that there's only a couple weeks left in 2015, but it's still a bit disappointing nonetheless. The game was announced in 2013 to much acclaim, as fans were excited for what Xbox head Phil Spencer called a "creative take on roguelike gameplay" that leaned heavily on survival, tough combat, and permadeath.
Capybara Games didn't specify when in 2016 we could expect to see Below, so for now, it's release date - like the island the hero explores - is a mystery.
