Welcome To The Punch pits Mark Strong against James McAvoy in crime thriller pitched as the London equivalent of Heat .
McAvoy is Max Lewinsky, the dogged copper tormented by the memory of the criminal who got away (Strong’s Jacob Sternwood). Left limping after taking a bullet in pursuit of Sternwood, he’s given a shot at redemption when his nemesis is forced to come out of hiding to return to the UK.
You can find out just why Sternwood has to return to home soil in our exclusive clip below.
Centring on a tense phonecall from Sternwood Jr, the clip showcases a pivotal moment that gets the plot moving. And it also features a shirtless Mark Strong, if that'll sway you.

The clip showcases the cool, crisp lensing of cinematographer Ed Wild, which gives the film a quality sheen that sets it apart from lesser Brit crime flicks.
WTTP is directed by Eran Creevy who made his name on low-budget dealer-drama Shifty , and the cast also includes Andrea Riseborough, Peter Mullan and David Morrisey. It opens in the UK on 15 March 2013; check out the poster below:
