THQ has announced an October 25 release for a free Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine DLC pack. The pack's eponymous Exterminatus mode introduces co-op with a survival scenario pitting up to four players against increasingly ferocious waves of enemies.
Set in the game's Assault on Hab Center Andrea and Escape from Kalkys Facility areas, Exterminatus mode pits up to four Space Marines against an onslaught of Orks and Chaos Space Marines. Perks unlocked in the game's existing Multiplayer section will still remain valid within Exterminatus, and your XP earned fighting Space Marines' hordes will count toward your overall multiplayer ranking. And, once again, it's free – so instead of saving your money, put some practice in so you won't look bad in front of your friends.
