Titanfall 2 isn't native 4K on PS4 Pro and it doesn't sound like many games will be

Titanfall 2 will be one of the first games to take advantage of the increased power of the PS4 Pro, both of which are launching within the next three weeks. And while developer Respawn is tweaking the game so it looks better and smoother on Sony's new system, executive producer Drew McCoy says players shouldn't expect AAA games to run at native 4K now or at any point in the near future.

"It’s not native 4K and I would be surprised if anyone saw native 4K with AAA-level games any time soon," McCoy recently told Stevivor. "It just takes so much processing power. It’s unbelievable amounts of just GPU grunt to do [native 4K]." McCoy said that instead of pumping up the overall resolution, the team has higher-resolution shadows, higher particle counts, and a more stable framerate.
