Sightseers exclusive quad poster

Sightseers , the deliciously dark, emphatically British comedy-horror from Kill List director (and TF favourite) Ben Wheatley has landed a new official quad poster, and you can check it out in full below.

In case you didn’t know, Wheatley’s latest follows anorak-sporting Chris and Tina (Steve Oram and Alice Lowe, who also co-write) as they head off on a caravan holiday through the Lake District.

If that sounds pretty straightlaced, just wait until the pair's sightseeing tour of the British Isles gets underway, and Chris starts taking out his frustrations on his fellow tourists and countrymen with an unhealthily murderous rage.

Blackly funny and gasp-inducingly shocking, the film also manages to look at Britain’s beauty spots through an incredible lens, highlighting the magnificence of the scenery, while also teasing out elemental, mythical moodiness.

The quad poster brings together all these elements, and also adds a cute dog into the mix, which never goes amiss. The tagline plays up the none-more-British humour, and the logo - underscored by a blood-trailing caravan - is the killer detail.
