Spoiler alert: this video contains no spoilers. What it does contain, however, is Isaiah Mustafa (aka Old Spice Guy, aka Matt Bradford body double) claiming to spoil the ending of Gears of War 3.
It's an odd connection, to be sure, but it makes sense considering Epic's Cliff Bleszinski recently revealed Mustafa would be a playable character in the upcoming sequel's multiplayer. We doubt this means he has top secret clearance at Epic, but Mustafa's alleged ending nonetheless sounds like the perfect way to cap the trilogy.
Mustafa's inclusion in Gears of War 3broke last weekduring the video podcast Nerd Alert wherein Bleszinski confirmed the Old Spice icon would play a small part in the game, explaining, “I’ll tell you that we actually, on a lark, decided to cast Isaiah Mustafa, who’s the Old Spice Guy,as one of the soldiers that you can play as in multiplayer…It’s not a huge part, but we know him through different connections and he’s a great guy. We decided to make him one of the soldiers you can play in the multiplayer and he does a great job with the voiceover.”
Look for Mustafa (and possible puppies, horses, and two tickets to that thing you love) when Gears of War 3 lands for the Xbox 360 on September 20th.
