Xbox One unboxing video: every console to ship with a headset

Microsoft has reversed its decision not to bundle a headset with every Xbox One console. The company had previously stressed the ability of Kinect, which will come as standard with every Xbox One, to isolate voices from background noise, positioning it as an all-in-one solution for video and audio chatting.

Today's announcement was made by Xbox Live’s director of programming, Larry 'Major Nelson' Hyrb, in the first official unboxing video of the console, which you can watch above. The video shows what you’ll get if you pick up one of the limited edition ‘Day One’ units. In addition to the console itself, the package contains Kinect, a branded controller, a headset, a 4K rated HDMI cable, power supply and a code for a Day One digital achievement.

Microsoft has also launched a new series of promotional videos offering a close-up look at Xbox One peripherals including the controller, play and charge kit and headset, which you can check out below. The company has confirmed that Xbox One will be available in 21 markets this November. The Xbox One price has been set at £430/$500.
