Game of Thrones season 7 premiere photos show off who is (and probably isn’t) in the opening episode

It’s nearly here. Your breath has probably turned cold after waiting so darn long but, yep, the Game of Thrones season 7 premiere is so close we can almost touch it. Unfortunately, D(aenerys)-Day isn’t here just yet, so you’ll have to make do with these 8 photos which reveal who is and, let’s face it, probably isn’t in the opening episode. Mild spoilers follow…

You don’t want to hear me ramble on any longer, you want pictures, dammit, so pictures you shall get.

It sure is nice to finally see Dany in Westeros. That Dragonstone throne doesn’t look as comfy as the Iron Throne though…

Pod vs. Brienne is the fight we never realised we wanted to see… until now. I just hope there’s no killing going on.

There’s Meera, fresh off her job as human carthorse for Bran, finally reaching the Wall. Here’s hoping she has a meatier role to play this time round.

Cersei is looking very worried. Probably something to do with that map behind her.

…or maybe this new map being constructed in King’s Landing? I didn’t know the Lannisters were into cartography.

The lowkey MVP of Game of Thrones season 6, Lyanna Mormont, is on course to make an appearance in the premiere. Expect sass levels to increase by roughly 1000%.

Last but not least, Dolorous Edd. The Acting Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch seems to be on the hunt for something. White Walkers, perhaps?

So, no Jon, no Sansa, no Arya, no Jaime, no Littlefinger and no Sam or Gilly. Of course, that’s not to say they won’t crop up somewhere but it’s interesting that they’re not the ones highlighted. I’m sure we’ll get to them soon enough…
