Free-to-play shooter Warface coming to Xbox 360

Crytek's free-to-play PC shooter Warface is coming to Xbox 360. IGN published the exclusive reveal trailer showing the game's four classes in action, though we're pretty sure this isn't from the 360 version.
Warface isn't quite as free-to-play on Xbox 360 as it is on PC (where it's still in beta); you need a Gold subscription to enter the fray. It's a foggy distinction which seems to vary by the game, as World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition will at least allow Silver members a trial edition (via Polygon).
Warface's co-op missions and team-based versus modes will both be available when the game arrives on Xbox 360 in early 2014. Oddly, neither Crytek nor Microsoft have announced Xbox One plans for the game, but we wouldn't be surprised to hear of them soon.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
