When you think of Blizzard games, several things come to mind: far off release dates, addictive gameplay, and stellar opening cinematics. We still have little clue when exactly the game will finally be put on PCs, but now that we’ve seen this new opening video, the wait feels longer than ever before. Watch as Hell returns to Earth all over again in this fantastic new footage.
Defying our expectations from the start, we were introduced to the hellish battles in the cel-shaded, fiery world. Just when we were getting used to that, we’re pushed out of the dream world and into reality, or at least expensive, real looking CG. As a sickly old man starts to bore us with predictions of the end times, fire rains down from the sky, and a hole to an all too familiar world is opened. We know the game won’t exactly look like this, but Blizzard’s big budget intro to the game makes us wish its vague release date was tomorrow.
