Filmmaker Dror Moreh somehow persuaded six former heads of the Israeli counter-terrorism agency Shin Bet to speak candidly on camera in this absorbing documentary, which charts the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from the Six Day War to the presentnday.
Alongside archival footage and CG reconstructions, these testimonies recall intelligence failures and foiled terrorist plots on both sides, as well as “enhanced” interrogation techniques and “targeted assassinations.”
