While Shaymin's strange, Chia Pet-like exterior makes it look harmless enough, this pure Grass legendary creature is a heavyweight thanks to its amazing stats and powerful attacks. Shaymin's natural power is evident in its signature move, Seed Flare, which deals massive Grass-type damage and may lower its target's Special Defense, making subsequent hits even more devastating. Shaymin lives on an island paradise covered in flowers, accessible only by crossing a magical bridge that appears at the cape at the end of Route 224 to trainers carrying Oak's Letter, an event-only item.
