Fact:multiple viewings of Namco Bandai's cgi masterpiece Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D may result in dangerously high levels of awesomeness, kickassity, and radballs. Fact: we just made that up to explain why the new feature film based on the oddball fighter franchise is only being given a one-night theatrical run in the U.S. on July 26th.
Watch the trailer (at your own risk):
Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D's brief western debut is being handled by the entertainment company Fathom Events. The movie will run with an extra 20-minutes of interview footage starring film's director, Youichi Mouri, and other Tekken talent.
The 'One Night Only' screening is limited to U.S. theaters, meaning Canadians will either have to find a ride south come July 26th, or wait for the DVD/Blu Ray at a later date. For Tekken fans that do reside within U.S. borders, Fathom Events has posted a list of participating theatershere.
