Suicide Squad: The Joker and Harley Quinn share a kiss in new character clip

While the reaction to Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn has been very positive, there's a sense that the jury is still out on Jared Leto's interpretation of The Joker in Suicide Squad. The latest character promo for the film puts a little more focus on the Clown Prince of Crime - who shares a kiss with Harley during the clip - and you can check it out below...

Harley and the Joker's unique, volatile relationship has been explored in cartoons, comics, and video games, but Suicide Squad is the first time the characters will be on the silver screen together. It's going to be interesting to see how Robbie and Leto play off one another, especially as it seems that this particular portrayal of the characters will have them be a little more intimate with one another. We'll find out in just a couple weeks. 

Directed by David Ayer and starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Joel Kinnaman, Suicide Squad will open in the UK and US on August 5, 2016.
