We recently reported on the rumour that Nightwing might be involved in Batman Vs. Superman , and this morning there is talk that Adam Driver is the hot favourite to take the role.
The Girls star is thought to be Warner’s first pick to play Batman’s old chum Dick Grayson, the one-time Robin now working alone as the vigilante, Nightwing.
Meanwhile, director Zack Snyder has been talking about the new film with Yahoo! , giving a brief outline of what we might be able to expect from the caped double-act.
“The fun of the idea is to be able to play with that relationship,” says Snyder. “Whether they fight and become friends, or whether they're friends and they fight… some physical conflicts will be involved.”
He also went on to make reference to the presence of Lex Luthor in the new film, remarking that “Lex loves to call Superman an alien.”
Of course, we've been discussing Lex for ages now, check out the latest episode of Cape Expectations below to see who's currently top of Total Film's very own Luthor League .
Directed by Snyder and co-starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, Batman Vs. Superman will open in the US on 17 July 2015.
