Microsoft has recently made available their new Quick Charge Kit, a recharging base that you can plug your controller batteries into when not in use. There are two slots on the unit to ensure that you always have a fresh battery to jack into your controller. It takes about two hours to charge one battery pack and four hours to charge two, but each battery offers about 25 hours of play - so if you can't get one recharged before the other runs out, you're not even trying.
The Quick Charge Kit comes with one rechargeable battery pack, so if you already got a Play & Charge Kit, you're totally in business with two packs. Otherwise, you may want to pick up a spare so that you can have one charging while using one in your wireless controller.
