I'm old enough to remember the days when you'd need to hard refresh major retailer pages to acquire a PS5 for its AU$799.95 RRP. Stock was so rare that some people used to pay upwards of AU$1,000 to scalpers. Those were dark times. Nowadays, retailers are frequently offering decent discounts on the PS5 Slim, but Black Friday has delivered the very best price on the PS5 (with disc!) yet: eBay is offering it for a measly AU$558.
That's a massive AU$241.95 saving, but to get that price you'll need to be an eBay Plus subscriber. Easy done: sign up for a free trial, use the coupon code PLUS120 at checkout, and then you'll have a shiny new console for the lowest price we've seen so far.
If you're averse to signing up for a free trial, or have already used up your free trial and don't have a burner email address, you'll still be able to pick one up for AU$628. Alternatively, Amazon is selling it for AU$645.15, which is a decent enough price albeit obviously not the lowest at this point.

The new low prices may have something to do with the recent release of the PS5 Pro, which is very unlikely to be discounted during this sale season. Still, we'll be keeping an eye out: we didn't expect to see a PS5 for under AU$600, that's for sure.
