With less than a week to go until December 25, time is slowly but surely running out to buy any PS5 games as gifts. Fortunately, these last minute PS5 game deals from Best Buy can at least help, as plenty of them are available for same-day pickup or are ready to ship in time for the big day. But with savings this good, I won't tell anyone if you want to grab some to give yourself plenty to play over the festive period instead.
There is a lot of savings on recent 2025 releases, which is something I didn't expect we'd see again until the big sales event of the new year. Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater is down to just $24.99 at Best Buy, a price so damn good it outdoes some of the best PS5 game deals I saw over Black Friday. That's not it for recent releases either, as you can also find Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles at its lowest ever price of just $39.99 (Best Buy), a game so new that I barely had time to tell Santa (aka my fiance) all about it.

With less than a week to go until Christmas Day, you are cutting it quite close when it comes to buying any gifts for the PS5 fans in your life. I don't blame you, life gets in the way, and some of us have to wait until payday rears to get any shopping done. However, I do ask that you check that any of the games you grab above will arrive in time if you're planning on giving them away as gifts.
Best Buy states that a lot of the games I've picked out will arrive before the big day, but it's always worth double-checking, especially this close to Christmas.
