If there’s one thing that PS4 exclusive The Order 1886 gets very right it’s the fact that it’s ridiculously attractive. Our own David Houghton said in his review that it could lay claim to “some of the finest visuals ever to grace a console game.”
The rest of the experience might not be worthy of such high praise but the addition of a Photo Mode to truly appreciate those eye-massaging visuals is much appreciated. The below video from Ready At Dawn shows a quick tutorial but the results are already impressive.
Giving you free rein to hurtle around the scene, remove characters, play with auto focus and depth of field and tweak filters to your Instagram obsessed heart’s desire, it’s an exciting and powerful new update. As well as adding lens flare to bring out your inner J.J Abrams, you can also leave all filters that you add to your image in place as you play the game. Have a problem playing games with those pesky new fangled colours? Worry no more. Photo Mode arrives in the latest patch.
