Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD gets PSN release on Dec 27

Oddworld: Strangers Wrath HD will be releasing December 27 on PSN, with plenty of immediately-visible improvements over the original. Stewart Gilray, CEO of Just Add Water, says his company has been working on the port “one way or another for around 15 months.” As well as bumping the whole game up to 720p, character models and environments have been overhauled, as you can see here.
Besides these apparent improvements, Just Add Water's duties on Oddworld Inhabitants' game include improved audio, the addition of difficulty levels and plenty of Trophies and Easter eggs. While the game won't support Move or stereoscopic 3D at launch, Just Add Water has pledged to add these features in future updates, giving you more reasons to go back and play the classic game.
The game will be available worldwide just after Christmas, priced at $14.99. Odds are you're going to want it, too, since it's a really good freaking game that you totally should have played.
