Remember, when you're playing a game with heavy focus on motion-capture performance, odds are that it looked super goofy on set. Case in point: what you see above is Nathan and Sam Drake catching their breath on a motorcycle, having just narrowly escaped death by fiery explosion in Uncharted 4. Or at least, that's what it will become. Right now it's two guys in skintight black jumpsuits on an oddly-shaped hunk of metal and plastic with tennis balls on it.
Sony and Naughty Dog have released a new behind-the-scenes trailer for Drake's last hurrah, and while it doesn't show any new game footage, there's plenty of shots showing the actors and programmers behind the magic. Sometimes it's easy to think of studios as faceless entities and actors as the characters they portray, so it's nice to watch something like this and remind ourselves of what goes into a game like this.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will launch for PS4 on March 18, 2016.
