New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 image gives us a closer look at Yondu's new head-fin

Those who attended Marvel's Hall H panel at San Diego Comic Con last month would have seen Michael Rooker debut the fancy new head-fin Yondu will be sporting in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Now Marvel have given us a closer look at the blue-skinned Ravager's new headpiece via Instagram, and you can check it out below...

Yondu's new look is much closer to the source material; In the first Guardians of the Galaxy he had a much smaller mohawk, but it looks like it will be fully grown in the sequel. Here's hoping we get to see what his new fin looks like in motion when the first trailer for Guardians 2 hits the web in a couple months time.

Directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Kurt Russell, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit UK cinemas on April 28, 2017 and open in US theatres on May 5, 2017.
