A fresh look at Pixar’s campus prequel

Monsters University , the first prequel from animation giant Pixar, has unleashed another trailer online, and you can watch it right here.

For anyone who's been dozing at the back thus far, Monsters University retraces the steps of Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James P. ‘Sulley’ Sullivan (John Goodman), revisiting the days before they were Monstropolis’ top scarers, and were in fact college freshmen (and odd-couple roommates).

As well as featuring fresher-faced versions of Monsters, Inc. ’s main characters (including Steve Buscemi’s Randall Boggs), there’s a gaggle of new characters, not least in the teaching faculty. Dragon-y Dean Hardscrabble (Helen Mirren) seems to be the one to watch out for.

Monsters University opens in the UK on 12 July 2013. Lucky folk in the US get it from 21 June 2013.
