Under a new deal between EA and Mad Catz, a whole line of Sims-inspired accessories will be coming out for pretty much every system on the market - namely, the Xbox 360, PS3, DS, 3DS, Wii, and PC. It seems like a stretch to create a whole line of accessories based on the franchise, but knowing EA and Mad Catz, we're sure they'll find a way.
"We are excited to work with EA and one of the most popular gaming franchises of all time. The Sims is a new and exciting opportunity for Mad Catz to reach a wider audience that includes both casual and enthusiast gamers. Our agreement with EA is part of our long-term strategy of working with the premium gaming brands and deliver innovative consumer focused accessories," said Mad Catz CEO Darren Richardson in a statement.
Mad Catz is known for running the gamut of accessories, from controllers to cables to carrying cases, so save your Simoleans and get ready for the Sims peripheral explosion, heading soon to a sale rack near you.
