Here's how you can play Mass Effect: Andromeda right now on EA Access

Mass Effect: Andromeda's release date won't arrive until next week, but did you know you can start playing right now if you're on Xbox One? The game's Play First Trial is live now on EA Access and all subscribers can spend up to 10 hours exploring the game's first planet (and yes, these planets are pretty big) or enjoy unlimited access to the co-op multiplayer mode ahead of time.

If you're not already an EA Access subscriber, you can buy a month-long subscription for pretty cheap.

If you decide to buy the full game once it comes out, all of your progress (including achievements) will carry over. And if you decide life in the Helios cluster isn't not for you, at least it was a heck of a lot less expensive than buying the full game.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
