The Nintendo Switch 2 itch finally came for my fiancé once Pokemon Pokopia was a thing, which meant I was overrun with "what accessories should I buy?" questions. You get a pair with the console, but it's easily lost, and it makes the mouse controls with Pokopia a lot easier to control. Plus, they just so happen to fit in the accessory pocket of that Donkey Kong case. I love it when a plan comes together.
