3 of Amazon's top-rated mini PCs are cheaper than ever right now, with prices from $259
PCs don't have to break the bank
Mini PC deals aren't hard to find, but discounts on highly rated top boxes that consistently prove their worth across retailers are a little trickier. There are a lot of different brands floating around the web, and it can be difficult to know who to trust. Today, though, some of Amazon's top-rated units are seeing record-low prices.
At the cheapest end of the spectrum we have the entry-level Bosgame E4. Hitting its lowest ever price of $259.99 at Amazon (was $329.99), this machine is specced towards lighter casual use. Its 16GB DDR4 won't keep up with a stack of Chrome tabs or more demanding programs, but it's still fantastic value for lighter work and study.
If you've got a little more budget to work with, though, the AceMagic Kron Mini K1 is my top pick this week. At $429 (was $499), it's running with 24GB of much faster DDR5 RAM, a Ryzen 7735HS at the helm and a 512GB SSD in the (upgradeable) storage bay. That's everything you need for more complex productivity and light media editing.
Ryzen 5 3550H | 16GB DDR4 | 512GB SSD
The Bosgame E4 is a basic everyday device. It's not going to run a more demanding workflow, but if you're just after casual browsing, streaming, and lighter work / study it's excellent value for money. I've only ever seen this model hit $289.99 in previous offers, making today's a record-low price.
Ryzen Pro 6650H | 16GB DDR5 | 512GB SSD
A faster Ryzen processor and DDR5 memory make this is a considerable step up in the productivity arena, but that Oculink connectivity and Radeon 660M integrated graphics mean it can take on some lighter gaming until an EGPU comes along as well. We're $120 off MSRP here, a return to the lowest price I've seen.
Ryzen 7 7735HS | 24GB DDR5 | 512GB SSD
Need more memory for more involved workflows? The AceMagic Kron Mini M1 sits with a solid $70 discount at Amazon this week. Triple 4K display support means this one's more equipped for a mid-range office space, plus casual games are supported with Radeon 680M graphics.
Of course, those hunting down the best gaming PCs should still be checking out full towers. Mini PCs are perfect for everyday browsing, work, and study but their reliance on integrated GPUs in the more affordable price range means they're locked out of more demanding modern titles.
It's not impossible to use one of these rigs as a gaming device, though - provided you typically stick to lighter titles. While you're not going to be blazing through framerates or ticking any of those fancy graphical settings, the Radeon 680M integrated graphics found in these models can still handle low end titles and uses FSR to boost your results as well.
For longer term play, though, I'd always recommend grabbing a model with an Oculink connection. That way you can get going with lighter titles now, and still keep the option to add an external GPU for more demanding games later on.
