Vikings Dynasty gets its first gameplay trailer giving you a good sense of what it's going to be like becoming a Viking Jarl
You're going to be very busy
Grab your drinking horn and get ready to lead the party because Vikings Dynasty just got a new gameplay trailer at FGS Live from Gamescom.
In this latest entry in the Dynasty franchise, you'll play as a young Viking undertaking a journey of survival in the harsh Nordic wilderness, who will then rise to lead their people as Jarl.
In Viking Dynasty, which is launching at some as-yet-unconfirmed point next year, you'll start by just trying to survive in an environment that constantly presents new challenges. But, what will start as a home will soon become a settlement to be proud of.
Your people will need jobs and leadership, as you build work buildings like workshops, smithies and carpenter shops. You'll also probably want to start a family and get yourself an heir to your Jarldom.
It's not all about leadership though - you'll need to craft your own ships to explore the multiple islands of the archipelago, underwater caves, fjords, and more. It's the only way you'll be able to hone your skills, find enough resources to craft and trade, and even appease the Norse Gods along the way.
With dynamic weather and seasonal changes to also contend with, you're certainly going to be a busy Jarl.
Vikings Dynasty is due to launch on PC in 2027 via gog.com, Epic Games Store, and Steam where you can wishlist it right now. It'll also be available on consoles later in 2027.
