Developer Trion is celebrating the holiday season with its Fae Yule celebrations for Rift players. In the spirit of giving, we’re most pleased to offer you the chance to win a free boxed copy of the game and time codes.

There’s no shortage of fantasy MMOs out there. But despite the glut of games stuck grinding under the shadow of its predecessors, Rift managed to bring something new to the table with a truly fantastic story and an extremely customizable skill system that let you build just about any type of hybrid class you could want. Of course, there’s also the Rift system, which spawn waves of monsters that attack nearby points of interest. Seeing a town suddenly under siege adds a much needed touch of awesome random danger to the sometimes predictable grind of everyday MMO life.
