The next Helldivers 2 Legendary Warbond, this time a collaboration with Warhammer 40,000, is getting a full reveal on July 30.
Arrowhead Game Studios tells fans to tune in next week with a short trailer showing nothing but a handgun, a date, and a couple logos. A trailer for an incoming trailer two months after the crossover's announcement trailer, then.

Not much is known about the forthcoming Warhammer 40,000 Warbond, but if it follows in the footsteps of the Killzone and Halo collaborations, then we're likely to get some sick cosmetics and cool weapons that would almost fit right into the sci-fi settings of both universes.
Squashing legions of juicy bugs and spreading democracy to all corners of the galaxy with the light touch of ultra-violent, ultra-deadly, sometimes fascist soldiers is common ground for both Helldivers and Warhammer, making this a match made in heaven. Here's hoping the Legendary Warbond can live up to its potential.
Arrowhead actually had another Warbond planned to release this summer, but the developer needed "more time to cook" and "would rather hold back" than apparently launch something half-baked. The unannounced Warbond doesn't have a new release date yet, though the studio says it'll keep players posted once the package nears completion.
Elsewhere in the bug-alien-killing video game world, July 30 is also the same day Gears of War: E-Day plans to show what it has in store for its multiplayer modes. Big day ahead for fans of chainsaw-adjacent weapons and meat-grinding shooters.
