Where to find Sentinels in Arc Raiders

The Sentinels in Arc Raiders are very rare enemies; sniper turrets set up on certain buildings that draw a bead on nearby players before doing huge damage. Sentinels are rare, but they drop Sentinel Firing Cores, items needed for Gunsmith table upgrades. Below I'll explain where to find Sentinel's locations in different maps, and an alternative way to find the Firing Cores.

Sentinel locations in Arc Raiders

Sentinels spawn randomly in Arc Raiders and are very rare, but always spawn outside on high locations with long sightlines where they can target people at range. They seem to have a higher spawn rate in Night Raids, and I've personally seen them appear at all the following locations:

  • Dam Battlegrounds: The Breach
  • Buried City: Town Hall
  • Spaceport: Departure Building
  • The Blue Gate: Pilgrim's Peak

You'll know if a Sentinel is nearby because you'll see the laser sight sweeping across the area. If one sees you, the laser will focus on you, and you'll have a moment to get behind cover. To kill the Sentinel, use cover to close the distance until you're in range to shoot at it. They don't have a huge amount of health in comparison to other rare enemies in Arc Raiders, so if you can get close then you won't need much effort to kill it.

How to get Sentinel Firing Cores

Sentinel Firing Cores are, of course, found on Sentinels, usually at a rate of one core per Sentinel. However, they also have a small chance to be dropped by Arc Couriers, the white, saucer-shaped objects that you can breach open, usually marked by plumes of smoke. It's absolutely worth prying open every courier you see, and worth keeping in mind that there's generally more crashed Couriers during Electromagnetic Storms in Arc Raiders.
