We're still waiting on a proper release window for Palworld 1.0, after brief teases both last year and this past January. While developer Pocketpair still doesn't have anything new to show off, it's been confirmed that development is continuing on the release.
The perennially online John 'Bucky' Buckley, head of communications and publishing at Pocketpair, publicly responds to a DM on the subject. "Last September, we posted a video explaining that the entire team's focus was on 1.0 and that we'd be going quiet until it's ready," he says on Twitter.
"I know you gamers want 1.0 ASAP, but it's still in the oven!" he adds. Short and to the point, but while it's been months, it sounds like there's really nothing substantive to tell us yet.

Where is 1.0 bro?!”Last September, we posted a video explaining that the entire team’s focus was on 1.0 and that we’d be going quiet until it’s ready. In the replies, Buckley mentions there'll be teasers when we start getting tangibly closer. "We'll crack the oven open a little when it's nearly done so you'll smell it," he tells one fan. Another player pokes at the general silence, to which Buckley reminds him Pocketpair understands its audience.
"It's great how enthusiastic everyone is for 1.0, but when it comes to how to actually market and promote our game," he says, "I think we have a pretty good grasp on what to do."
Though I understand the restlessness and general silence, it's important to understand this is a huge moment for Palworld. Going 1.0 is massive for any game, never mind one that has such a well-built audience and reputation. It's a harbinger of what's to come, and Pocketpair wants to get it right, and that takes time.
When there's something to show us, we'll know. In the meantime, have a think about who you'll romance in the Palworld dating sim when that arrives, too.
