Borderlands 4 player, I hope you're ready to have your hands full. Gearbox's latest looter shooter is about to get a ton of stuff.

It begins on February 26 – with Bounty Pack 2: Legend of the Stone Demon, the first paid Borderlands 4 DLC, plus what Gearbox calls in an announcement a "major update" bringing the new Pearlescent rarity tier. Later, in March, Borderlands 4 is set to receive its first Story Pack, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, which will introduce the new playable Vault Hunter C4SH.

Yeah, that's a lot of stuff, no matter how you break it down. And it'll cost… more money, no matter how you break it down. The Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack Bundle, which encompasses Bounty Pack 2 through 5, is $40 ($20 less than the price of the base game), though Gearbox says you can also buy each Pack individually. Story Pack 1 does not yet have a price tag, but you can wishlist it now on Steam, Epic, and the Xbox store.

If your fortune would prefer to stay in your bank account, however, the Borderlands 4 update bringing Pearlescent tier – which is better than Legendary – will be available to everyone.
