The guys and gals upstairs have asked us to tell you about TotalFilm.com’s sister (well second cousin) website, www.GadgetCandy.com . We know this does not constitute “movie news”. In fact we can’t find a movie related gadget on their entire site. But it’s still a cool site and their strapline makes us titter…

Here’s the science:

GadgetCandy.com is the brand-new technology and lifestyle website that’s tailor-made to deliver daily updated hot gadget news and style trends with a distinctly feminine voice. Spanning several categories – think Accessories, Celebrity Candy, Games, Home Gadgets, Imaging, Mobiles, MP3 players, Naughty Candy, Pamper, Random Candy and Things for Him – GadgetCandy.com also features exclusive competitions, weekly polls, and an archive of chic products.

So what articles can you expect? Here’s a taster:

Accessories: A candy-coloured selection of iPod holders for little nano from Noreve Saint Tropez.

Celebrity Candy: A gorgeous Flower Light designed by model and photographer Helena Christensen for Habitat’s VIP collection.

Games: The AIBO ERS-7M3 – a champagne-coloured canine that keeps its own diary, allows you connect remotely via the internet, and reads out the latest news reports for you. The ultimate multi-tasking animal aide!

Home Gadgets: Quooker, a nifty home gadget that delivers boiling hot water on tap.

Imaging: Sony’s luxe new N1 compact – the first touch-screen Cyber-shot.

Mobiles: The Siemens CL75 Poppy – an elegant beauty with a high-quality screen which doubles as a compact mirror, complete with a silver charm designed by Gharani Strok.

MP3 Players: All the goss’ on Apple’s latest video iPod!

Naughty Candy: A sexy black satin garter from Agent Provocateur fitted with a pink-trimmed 3 mobile holder.

Pamper: A Swarovski-studded shower head from Ondine. The ultimate in pamper pleasure.

Random Candy: The Dior Christal collection – John Galliano’s latest spread of timepieces epitomises rock chick cool.

Things for Him: The Liquid Lounger backpack that doubles as a portable party, complete with a removable AM/FM stereo system, weather-resistant speakers, collapsible chair, deck of cards and dice, and, for the cherry on top, a flask, shot glass, stirrer and combo wine tool.

What sets GadgetCandy.com aside? Their writers don’t just list the specs of a new product. Rather, they playfully state what’s different about it, who’s using it, and how it will complement a woman’s gadget wardrobe. So whether it’s glitzy iPod holders you’re after, stocking fillers for the gadget aficionado in your life, or naughty candy, just because, visit www.GadgetCandy.com for glam gadget news, especially for her.
