Final Fantasy Explorers, Square Enix's excursion into Monster Hunter-like dungeon crawling for Nintendo 3DS, will finally journey west to North America on January 26 and Europe on January 29 of next year, the developer/publisher has revealed. An announcement trailer shows off how the game will work, allowing up to four players to bring customized characters into battle against familiar enemies as they explore a slightly cuter Final Fantasy universe (though not so cute as World of Final Fantasy).
Final Fantasy Explorers has actually been available in Japan for some time - since December 2014, to be precise. And while the lack of any information regarding a western port at E3 2015 wasn't encouraging, it seems that Square Enix doesn't need a strange and awkward press conference to let fans know what's coming.
