Seeing as he’s starring in the Hollywood version of Assassin’s Creed, it’s not surprising that Michael Fassbender has given the deliciously stabby games a go. Plus he has a favourite way of dispatching those who would seek to stop the cloaked Assassin.
Going down the classic route of shiny, sharp blades, Fassbender says that he likes “the knives” best when it comes to discovering his inner assassin. “It's nice to get up close and personal”, he laughs. “I think as an assassin, that's the ultimate level that you can reach to get close to your mark. That was something, of course, I was biased towards – because that's Aguilar's weapon of choice”. Who can blame him? It’s good to know that Fassbender likes the high-risk approach. After all, considering he did “95%” of his own stunts in the movie, having him hedge his bets and hide in the distance would seem a little out of character.
Fassbender isn’t a one-trick pony though, as he also mentioned that he likes “a little bit of bow and arrow action, just because I've always liked it since I was a boy”. Aww. What’s your favourite execution method in Assassin’s Creed? Leave your preferred killing move in the comments below!
